Bay Leaf Powder

Bay laurel (Laurus nobilis, Lauraceae). Fresh or dried bay leaves are used in cooking for their distinctive flavour and fragrance. The leaves should be removed from the cooked food before eating (see warning section below). The leaves are often used to flavour soups, stews, braises and pâtés in many countries. The fresh leaves are very mild and do not develop their full flavour until several weeks after picking and drying.

In ancient Rome, Bay leaves were used as a medicine and spice. They were considered to be sacred and used in a decorative fashion during celebratory festivals.
Never ingest bay leaf essential oil. Allergic reactions including but not limited to skin irritation and asthma may result from consumption of essential oils.
Do not consume if you are pregnant or are breast feeding.
